Warm Climate Packing List

Whether you are heading to South East Asia or Euro Summer, these are some of the basics you should be packing! Of course we are all individual so we do need to think about things we might need for ourselves, but the way I like to make sure I don’t forget anything is to think about the 5 categories; clothes, toiletries, electronics, emergencies and personal. I have broken all of my packing lists into these sections so you get more of an idea about what these refer to.

Lets start with clothes:

What we have to remember is that if it can’t be worn with 2 or more outfits it shouldn’t really come with us. Thats why when I am on the road I usually stick to all black good quality clothing, this is for a couple reasons 1) its cute and honestly you can’t go wrong with it 2) it doesn’t stain very easily and you can wear it alot more than white or colours before a wash and 3) black goes with pretty much everything so if I bring say a green cargo skirt I know it will still go with all of my black tops! When I travel I love to look good but it doesn’t mean I am going to lug around every piece of clothing I own. You can bring small accessories like belts or jewllery to jazz up your outfits! Work smarter not harder and remember everything you put in that backpack… YOU have to carry it.

My Clothes I pack:

  • 4x Everyday tank tops (that fit well)

  • 3x Going out tops

  • 2x Tshirts (1 for sleep, one for casual wear)

  • 1x Flowy/comfy shorts (can be used for sleep if needed)

  • 1x Bike shorts

  • 1 x Cargo skirt/going out skirt

  • 2x Flowly long skirt

  • 1x Skort

  • 1x Lightweight cargo pants (my fave are from bershka or a pair of zip off pants)

  • 1x Fun button up top (for covering at temples or sheilding from the sun)

  • 3x Swimmers

  • 1x One peice swimsuit

  • 2x Dresses (these can be patterened as you don’t have to match them with anything but 1 for casual and one for casual but you can wear it out)

  • 1x Rubber birkinstocks

  • 1x Solomons (perfect shoes for hikes and for casual wear)

  • 1x Workout outfit

  • 2 x PJ bottoms (T-shirt for tops)

Toiletries:

Toiletries are super important obviously. When you are travelling its important to consider what bag you are bringing. If you are bringing only carry on bags you have to keep this in mind when it comes to toiletries. Sometimes I check my bag and sometimes I dont, however I will always do my best to limit the amount of liquids I bring. If anything spills or leaks, its kind of a nightmare to clean up hence my rule, cut down on liquids wherever possible. Lets get started!

  • Dr bronners soap bar (this is a must! You can use it in so many different way but my personal fave is doing spot laundry in a sink if something needs to be washed but you haven’t got enough laundry to actually go do a load of washing!)

  • Cleanser soap bar (facial cleanser that can also double as a bodywash works so well! My fave is cetephil soap bar)

  • Shampoo bar (Shampoo bar is incredible it lathers so well, DO NOT use conditioner bars they suck)

  • Conditioner sack (my favourite toiletries hack, using the pouches instead of solid bottles to store my liquids. That way you aren’t taking up uneccesary space in your bag!)

  • Moisturiser sack (facial and body moisturiser in one preferably, I use again cetephil)

  • Sunscreen sack (self explanitory, you can refill the pouches while you are away)

  • Facial tanner oil (I am wearing so much sunscreen on my face that I need to use a gradual tanner on my face so I am the same colour on my body lol)

  • Toothbrush

  • Toothpaste
